How Does it Work?

Our service provides a means where you can connect with a doctor online from your phone, tablet, or computer. Just send us an email request, and we’ll get back to you with an appointment time.

How do I book an appointment?

You can send us an appointment request using the Medicuro App (available on iOS & Android), or use the booking form on this website. Click here to book an appointment.

What types of conditions can be diagnosed?

We can safely and accurately diagnose most of the common issues through your virtual visit, and provide timely treatment suggestions including prescriptions. Some examples: cuts & abrasions, medication refills, sprains and strains, respiratory infections, dehydration, insomnia, sinus infections, skin conditions, fever & flu, colds, sore throat, migraines, earache & body aches, bites or stings, and much more. Can I get a new prescription or refill?

Yes, we can prescribe medications online during your appointment. We can arrange to have your prescription forwarded to the pharmacy of your choice.

Why is there a cost?

We are providing a premium medical service through a new technology platform, offered to those who want to skip the waiting room in order to see a doctor online. These services aren’t currently covered under provincial health plans. Click here to view our pricing plans.
Please Note: During the COVID-19 response by the Government of Newfoundland & Labrador, virtual care will be funded by MCP until further notice.

How can I pay?

Once your appointment is complete, we’ll email you the invoice where you can use your credit card to conveniently pay online.

Who are the people who will be treating me?

We are a team of medical specialists working in Newfoundland and Labrador. Our team is acutely aware of the needs and health care challenges facing the people of this province.
Our goal is to address those needs and remove the ongoing barriers to primary health care in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Disclosure to Users Regarding Privacy

Medicuro is committed to ensuring your information is private and secure. If using the chat option to initiate an appointment, do not disclose any medical information, rather simply request an appointment. A Registered Nurse will help you arrange your appointment but will also redirect you of any other information is shared by asking you to not do so.

Users are responsible to ensure they are in a private setting when having their online appointment. Medicuro cannot be responsible for where you choose to have your appointment, the usage of shared email and internet accounts, or the security of your internet connection including wifi.
